Smart Shop-Floor App for Manufacturing

Exact has introduced Smart Shop Floor, a cloud-based application for factory operators and workers to retrieve job data, track time and materials, and record job progress within the company’s Exact for Manufacturing cloud-based business software.
With the addition of the Smart Shop Floor app, factory operators and workers can input and access real-time job data, eliminating the need to distribute shop orders via paper and giving everyone a single view into the most up-to-date information. With the touch of a button, operators can clock their time on a shop order, providing accurate, real-time progress data back to the office, according to company officials. Additionally, Smart Shop Floor is designed for portable use on a tablet or smart phone, eliminating the need to use desktop or laptop computers in the factory.
