Ward Manufacturing Co. Acquires The Line Group, Inc.

Ward Manufacturing Co., Evanston, IL, an ISO 9001:2015-registered, fourth-generation family-owned contract manufacturer specializing in progressive-die, deep-draw and compound-die metal stamping, has acquired The Line Group, Arlington Heights, IL. Operations for The Line Group, which manufactures precision metal stampings, fabricated-metal products and electromechanical assemblies, have been transitioned to Ward, and its inventory of finished products is being shipped. Ward also has carried over key Line Group production staff.

In addition to the acquisition, Ward Manufacturing recently built a 36,000-sq.-ft. finished-goods warehouse to accommodate added capacity and support its rapid growth.
