Square Deal Machining Inc. Acquires Kurtz Truck Equipment

Square Deal Machining Inc. (SDMI), Marathon, NY, a full-service machining, fabrication, welding and assembly company, has acquired Kurtz Truck Equipment, also in Marathon, a manufacturer of new and refurbished fire apparatus and supplier of specialty and custom fabricated metal products and weldments. The move helps SDMI expand production and continue to provide machining and fabrication services with faster processing times. The business structure of Kurtz Truck Equipment, which fabricates propane trucks, crane trucks and dump bodies, will not change, and all employees will work separately from SDMI, say company officials.
