The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) has partnered with ITR Economics to provide its member companies members with economic intelligence, to help reduce risk and drive practical and profitable business decisions. Says PMA President David Klotz: “Our association continues to add resources to help member companies during this unprecedented time, and the partnership with ITR will offer members critical information to help them make informed business decisions in the months and years ahead.”

As part of the new partnership, PMA members will receive quarterly economic reports for three industry sectors, and hear directly from Alan Beaulieu, ITR president and economist, during PMA webinars and conferences.

“We look forward to having Alan share his expertise so that our members can capitalize on emerging economic trends,” adds PMA vice president of sales/publisher Michael Vohland. “We’ll kick off the PMA-ITR Economics partnership with a webinar on October 1, during which Alan will provide a data-driven perspective of how factors such as COVID-19 and the reopened economies will impact companies.”

Beaulieu also will deliver a keynote presentation during PMA’s annual Forming Our Future conference, March 3-6, 2021, in Key Largo, FL.

“Business leaders can best utilize their resources and deploy capital most effectively when they can gauge future demand with a high degree of confidence,” says Beaulieu. “This, of course, translates into increased profits and a superior market position. PMA and ITR are working together to give PMA members the economic foresight they need to do that, and more, in an effective and easy-to-use format.”
