Marion Mfg.’s Barry Named a STEP Ahead Honoree

Metal former Marion Manufacturing, Cheshire, CT, announced that its quality manager, Katie Barry, has been recognized as a 2022 STEP Ahead Honoree. The STEP Ahead Awards celebrate women in science, technology, engineering and production careers who have made outstanding achievements in their companies and communities. Described by her colleagues as “the heart and soul” of Marion Manufacturing, Barry, during the past 7 yr., has worked her way through several promotions at Marion serving in positions ranging from quality inspector to head of the shipping and receiving department, and her current role as quality manager.
