Feintool has announced a $35 million, 47,000-sq.-ft. expansion to its Nashville, TN, facility, a 25% increase designed to meet customer demand for next-generation hybrid-capable transmissions.
“Given strong sales and Feintool’s commitment to leadership in technology, this is another step in our North American strategy to deliver the best value for our customers through modern equipment, automation and vertical integration,” says Christoph Trachsler, CEO, Feintool U.S. Operations
The expansion makes room for a new 1600-ton direct servo transfer press planned to enter service in Q1 2025. “The expansion will create as many as 50 new jobs to help meet demand for automotive transmissions, hubs, clutch baskets and gear spiders,” says Dan Swiger, vice president and general manager, Feintool Tennessee.
