Dalsin Industries to Appoint New President/CEO
August 14, 2020Metal fabricator Dalsin Industries, Bloomington, MN, announced that president and CEO Gary Fruth, after 18 years with the company, will retire by the end of the year, and that vice president of sales Tom Schmeling will take over as president and CEO.
“During (Fruth’s) tenure, Dalsin’s revenue more than doubled,” says Mark Dalsin, co-chair of the company’s board of directors. Adds Arnold Angeloni, another co-chair of the company’s board of directors, regarding Schmeling: “During his time at Dalsin, Tom has strategically grown revenue as well as demonstrated a firm grasp of all aspects of our business.”
