COVID-19 Phase 3 Legislation/Executive Action Recommendations

The PMA/NTMA One Voice advocacy team in Washington, D.C., is providing periodic updates on the government’s plans to address the economic and financial challenges that the metal forming industry is experiencing as a result of COVID-19. The team has created a new website, www.onevoiceinfo.org, where visitors can obtain the trustworthy, practical information needed to operate their businesses.

Current website topic areas include: Safe Workplace Guidelines; Workforce Resources; Human Resource Compliance Tools; Loan and Tax Information; and Federal, State and Local Government Ordinances and Information. The site is being updated constantly as new information becomes available.

The One Voice team also, on March 17, sent out a survey to help guide its advocacy efforts. Here are its policy recommendations to the federal government, based on the input of 103 respondents.
