Charlotte-Based Metal Forming Company Stampsource Acquired by Phoenix Stamping Group

Phoenix Stamping Group, a division of PHX Holdings, purchased Stampsource, a Charlotte, NC-based metal stamper and fabricator. Phoenix Stamping Group is a 34-yr.-old family-owned business primarily serving the material-handling, towable-trailer, truck-aftermarket, and agricultural-equipment markets.
Stampsource has more than 50 employees, and brings to PHX added capacity and redundancy in metal stamping, fabrication, tool-and-die design and kitting and assembly. Stampsource will be integrated as Plant 04 of Phoenix Stamping Group, with Michael Pinkerton continuing to serve as general manager of the facility.
