ASTM International and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada’s Network for Holistic Innovation in Additive Manufacturing (HI-AM Network) have signed a memorandum of understanding supporting the development of additive manufacturing (AM) standards. The agreement an information exchange on topics of interest and will encourage Canadian participation in the standards-development process.
“We are thrilled to partner with worldclass universities in the HI-AM Network to focus on key industry challenges,” says Dr. Mohsen Seifi, ASTM International director of global additive manufacturing programs, “and already have registered two standard work items as a result of this collaboration.”
