GDIS 2025: Preliminary Agenda

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has released a preliminary agenda for Great Designs in Steel (GDIS) 2025, a one-day symposium on steel technologies and applications, with a heavy focus on automotive. GDIS will feature three concurrent presentation tracks: Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing, and Materials & Joining. Lyndon Lie, Volkswagen Group of America executive VP and chief engineering officer will provide the automotive keynote address, with the steel keynote address from Lourenco Goncalves, Cleveland-Cliffs chairman, president and CEO.
And, the symposium will include three vehicle-architecture presentations and body-in-white exhibits: Volkswagen ID.Buzz, GM 2025 D-Segment Crossover and Rivian R1 Body Structure.
