AI Assistant for Tariffs Compliance

Introduced in Quickcode, an artificial-intelligence (AI)-powered trade-compliance assistant, are new features designed to help businesses navigate evolving International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) and Section 301 tariffs and other trade regulations. With new tariffs already in place and more on the way, Quickcode's latest enhancements make compliance faster, more efficient and more accessible for businesses of all sizes, according to company officials.
New features include:
- Bulk Apply/Dismiss Chapter 99 tariffs: With multiple IEEPA updates already in effect and more new tariffs expected, this tool enables users to apply or dismiss Chapter 99 tariffs across multiple products in just a few clicks, saving time and reducing manual workload.
- One-off pricing for compliance data: Free-Tier users now have the option to purchase compliance data and additional features for a single product. This includes information on Partner Government Agencies, anti-dumping/countervailing duties, Section 301 and 232 tariffs, IEEPA tariffs and a custom PDF report to assist with "Reasonable Care" requirements.
- Side-by-side displays: This interface enhancement allows users to evaluate AI-recommended product classifications alongside compliance data in a single view. By displaying AI-suggested Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes alongside Customs and Border Control’s Custom Rulings Online Search System rulings, World Customs Organization explanatory notes and other trade resources, users can make more informed classification decisions.
- Tariff calculator: Quickcode is rolling out a tariff calculator designed to simplify landed-cost comparisons across countries and suppliers, providing businesses with a faster and more intuitive way to analyze costs and make data-driven decisions.
