Dyndrite and BNP Paribais will host the third annual Digital Manufacturing Investor Day (DMID), a free-to-attend virtual forum where emerging additive manufacturing (AM) and other digital manufacturing companies showcase their products and services to the investment community.

DMID was created by Dyndrite at the start of Covid-19 pandemic to assist companies in building relationships with the investor community. Last year’s DMID event connected 12 emerging AM companies with more than 300 venture-capital and private-investment firms from around the world. This year’s event, sponsored by BNP Paribais, focuses on later-stage companies, and some public ones, according to Dyndrite officials. Presenting companies include Steve Chillscyzn, CEO, Evolve Additive; Avi Reichental, president and CEO, Nexa3D; Sam O’Leary, CEO, SLM Solutions; and Tali Rosman, vice president, 3D business unit of Xerox; and more.

“With the negative impact of Covid on travel, I originally conceived of DMID as a way of helping emerging companies build investor relationships virtually,” says Harshil Goel, CEO and founder of Dyndrite. “In speaking with the community, we all agreed that a forum that connects emerging AM companies with the investment community is a needed event—especially with the rise in announcements of companies leveraging public markets.”

A full DMID lineup will be announced in coming days.
