ASTM International Honors CalRam's Collins with AM-Standardization Award

The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) has honored Shane Collins, director of additive-manufacturing (AM) technologies at CalRam, Inc., Camarillo, CA, with the Robert J. Painter Award. The award recognizes Collins’ leadership in the industry, specifically his efforts in advancing voluntary standardization for AM technologies.

An ASTM International member since 2009, Collins holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Purdue University. He previously served as a product manager with 3D Systems, sales manager with EOS of North America, managing director with Directed Manufacturing and director of program management with Oxford Performance Materials.
