Moeller Precision Tool No Longer Land Locked
April 1, 2013Comments To launch its aggressive 20-yr. expansion plan built on a foundation of additional specialized machining equipment, Moeller Precision Tool has moved from its 37,000-sq.-ft. land-locked facility in Plymouth, MI, to a 77,000-sq.-ft. facility in Wixom, MI, with ample land to allow the company to double in size. With the move to Wixom the firm has acquired seven new large pieces of machining equipment, and plans to add three more later in 2013. It’s also grown its employee count by 15 percent. Moeller Precision manufactures punches, die buttons, retainers and other piercing products, and nitrogen and mechanical gas springs. The firm also performs contract machining and 3D part digitizing.
