Hi-Tech Acquires Global Contract Manufacturing
July 1, 2014CommentsAlong with May River Capital, LLC, Hi-Tech Manufacturing, Schiller Park, IL, acquired a majority interest in GCM Medical and OEM, Inc., and Global Contract Manufacturing, Union City, CA. Hi-Tech manufactures low- to medium-volume precision-machined components and assemblies. GCM, which also operates a facility in Dongguan, China, provides contract-manufacturing services (sheetmetal fabrication, precision machining, EDM, etc.) to OEMs in the medical, energy and other industries.
