Triton Industries, Chicago, IL, has received AS 9100 Rev C/ISO9001:2008 certification, the latest standard for the aerospace industry. Triton also supplies fabricated and stamped metal products and assemblies to the medical, agricultural, security, transportation, oil and gas, gaming and other industries.
Oberg Industries, Freeport, PA, has been registered to AS9100 Rev. C, the aerospace-industry quality-management system. Among the objectives of the latest revision: incorporate ISO 9001:2008 changes, and expand the scope to include land- and sea-based systems for defense applications.
ISO 9001:2008 registration has been bestowed upon Handling Specialty Manufacturing Ltd., Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. The company custom-engineers and manufactures material-handling equipment, including fork trucks and indexing tables.
Joining Technologies, East Granby, CT, is on schedule to earn certification to ISO 13485 by year-end. The standard addresses the manufacture of medical devices. Joining Technologies, already certified to NADCAP and AS9100 for aerospace and defense work, performs laser- and electron-beam welding, laser-additive manufacturing and weld-system design and integration.
