AMT Has New President as Byrd Steps Down

Following an eight-month search, AMT—The Association For Manufacturing Technology, McLean, VA, has found a new president to take over for John B. Byrd III, retiring after five years at the association.
The new president, Robert K. Simpson, takes over in October. He most recently served as corporate vice president and president of Global Plastics Machinery for Milacron Inc., Cincinnati, OH; previously served as president of Siegel-Robert Automotive Inc., St. Louis, MO; and also held executive positions with Textron and TRW.
