New Chassis and Body-Parts Plant to Open in Middle Georgia

Following the announcement by Hyundai earlier this year to build an electric-vehicle plant near Savannah, GA, Korean Tier One supplier Hwashin has announced plans to establish a chassis and body-part manufacturing facility in Dublin, GA. The plant, a $176 million investment, primarily will supply chassis components for Hyundai Kia Georgia. Expected to employ more than 460 workers, it is scheduled to launch production in late 2025.
