Press-Feed Control Optimizes Motion Profile

Stampers input the speed of the press, feed-angle window and feed length, and the control utilizes the full feed window of the press to automatically generate a smooth feed-motion profile. While traditional feed controls use a trapezoidal motion profile that can create quick, sudden motions that increase the chance of slipping, the ProfileSelect control establishes a sinusoidal profile (cam motion) to provide smooth material feed.
