New Coe Coil Line to Automotive Stamper

CommentsHudson Industries, Hudson, IN, a supplier of stamped metal parts to the automotive industry, has installed a Coe Press coil line on an Eagle 400-ton progressive-die press. Maximum coil width: 36 in.; coil weight capacity is 30,000 lb. The line, rated for 55,000-psi yield strength steel 0.020 to 0.187 in. thick, features #3 matte chrome rolls and a power straightener with 30-hp ac variable-speed drive. Its alligator-style peeler de-kinker station enables hands-free threading. The ServoMaster controller provides automatic passline-height adjustment and roll-pressure control.
