Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI will introduce its latest technology joint venture with GSW-Schwabe, Kempen, Germany: a cradle-straightener-feeder capable of feeding 0.375-in.-thick by 18-in.-wide high-strength steel. Coe Press also will display a variety of pressroom and coil-processing technologies. These include high-production blanking and cut-to-length lines capable of processing 0.250 by 78-in. by 60,000-lb. coils at speeds to 300 ft./min; direct-transfer press-feed systems capable of running five different modes and handling various material shapes; and oscillating shear dies and presses for producing net-shaped blanks. Coe also supplies conventional coil-feed lines capable of processing materials 0.010 to 0.500 in. thick from 2 to 78 in. wide in coil weights from 2000 to 80,000 lb., and SpaceMaster compact coil lines, in 15- to 16-ft. line lengths, for feeding a range of materials and weights.
