LVD Strippit on a Mission to Improve Throughput, Reduce Waste
June 1, 2012CommentsLVD Strippit, Akron, NY, has begun to implement a worldclass manufacturing initiative to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Its production-assembly departments are following the lean principles of the “house of lean,” participating in 5S activities and concentrating on the seven mudas—the primary contributors to waste made famous by the Toyota Production System.
