December 1, 2008CommentsCNCMitsubishi, Wood Dale, IL, introduces the ED6000S CNC small-hole EDM drill, which company officials say offers positioning speeds five times faster

An increased W-axis speed reduces positioning time between holes and electrode exchange time, boosting overall small-hole production. The ED6000S comes with a Mitsubishi MELFA robot that controls the 20-position (or 40-position) automatic electrode changer and 10-position guide changer for quick tool changing during production.
