Sealed Safety Eyewear Boasts Anti-Fog Lens Coating

Honeywell has introduced Uvex Livewire sealed safety eyewear, with the Uvex HydroShield anti-fog lens coating. The eyewear is ideally suited for workers who require the added protection of a goggle along with fog-free visibility. By pairing Livewire with HydroShield, workers reportedly avoid lens fogging more than 60 times longer than with competitive anti-fog-coated products. Permanently bonded to the lens, HydroShield will not wear off after extended wear or repeated cleanings. It also delivers two times greater scratch resistance than competitive anti-fog coated products, say company officials, for extended lens life.

The eyewear is available in nine specialized lens tints and two frame colors; 6-base and 8-base prescription safety frames accommodate workers requiring vision correction. Livewire goggles meet ANSI Z87.1-2010 and CSA Z94.3 safety standards.
