New Punch Press Accepts Two Tooling Styles

Murata Machinery USA, Inc. introduces the Motorum M2558TS/TS-S punch press, designed with two tooling options—Wiedemann-style push-pull tooling and spring-style tooling. With push-pull tooling, the ram, punch holder and punch are connected to achieve positive stripping action through the entire punching cycle. And, the spring-style turret enables operators to utilize tooling from existing inventory. New, quick-release die holders offer a rapid tool-change time with simple-access single-touch opening of turret covers.
The Motorum M2558TS/TS-S is powered by a servo-electric punch-drive system that optimizes production speeds, with energy-efficient operation and minimal maintenance costs.
