Compact, Portable, High-Speed Press Brake

Bystronic Inc., Elgin, IL, introduces the new Xpert 40 compact and portable high-speed press brake. Moveable on demand, the machine proves ideal when space is limited and capacities vary. With its integrated tool storage, the Xpert 40 reportedly is the first press brake to combine the entire setup and production from one station, greatly reducing nonproductive bending times.

Able to provide as many as 1028 bends/hr., the Xpert 40 will easily keep pace with today’s increasingly popular high-speed fiber-laser cutting machines. And with its flexible tool selection, six-axis backgauge and a press capacity to 44 tons, the machine is equipped to bend thin and thick materials into highly complex shapes.
