8- and 10-kW Fiber-Laser Cutting Machine

Bystronic introduces the ByStar Fiber laser-cutting machine, available with a 6-, 8-, or 10-kW power source, designed from the ground up to cut thick plate (to 1.18 in. with consistently high quality), as well as meet the demands of high-speed sheetmetal cutting. The triangular cutting-bridge design provides optimum rigidity and accuracy.

Optimizing versatility, access to the cutting area is via the long side of the machine. A large sliding door allows users to insert express jobs and residual sheets at any time, even while large-scale jobs are running. The machine uses Bystronic’s ByVision cutting process that unites all of the critical functions on a 22-in. touchscreen and provides the operator with numerous possibilities to interactively intervene in the cutting process.
