Report: 3D-Printed Medical Device Market to Hit $6 Billion by 2029

Market research firm IDTechEx projects in a newly released report that the global market for 3D printed medical devices will climb to more than $6 billion over the next decade, noting that some segments could see compound annual growth rates of up to 18 percent through 2029. Among the devices highlighted in the report: 3D printing hearing aids, invisible and removable (while eating) orthodontic aligners; and prosthetics.
