Nexxt Spine LLC, a Noblesville, IN-based provider of spinal solutions, announced that it has gained FDA 510(k) clearance of the Matrixx stand-alone anterior cervical interbody fusion system for the treatment of degenerative disc disease. Made of 3D printed porous titanium interbodies utilizing GE Additive’s Mlab printer, the system uses the bone screw fixation provided and requires no additional fixation, “facilitating the body’s natural power of cellular healing for fortified fusion,” says Andy Elsbury, president, Nexxt Spine.
