Wilson Tool Repositions, Renames its Exacta Brands
The Exacta Precision and Exacta FabTool Canadian divi- sions acquired by Wilson Tool International, White Bear Lake, MN, late in 2010, have been integrated and renamed Wilson Tool Cana- da, Ontario, Canada. Exacta Precision Products manufac- tures punches and dies, standard and special shapes, for the metal stamp- ing and fabrication indus- tries. Exacta FabTool manu- factures press-brake tooling.

Fastener manufacturer Spirol International Corp., Danielson, CT, has earned a General Motors 2012 Suppli- er Excellence Award, based on statistics related to quali- ty performance in the areas of line interruptions, recalls and corrective actions. Spirol employs rollforming and stamping technology, fourslide machinery, lasers and other technologies to
produce precision shims, coiled and slotted spring pins, disc springs, pin and insert installation equipment and similar products.

Moeller Precision Tool No Longer Land Locked
To launch its aggressive 20-yr. expansion plan built on a foundation of additional specialized machining equip- ment, Moeller Precision Tool has moved from its 37,000- sq.-ft. land-locked facility in Plymouth, MI, to a 77,000- sq.-ft. facility in Wixom, MI, with ample land to allow the company to double in size. With the move to Wixom the firm has acquired seven new large pieces of machining equipment, and plans to add three more later in 2013. It’s also grown its employee count by 15 percent. Moeller Precision manufactures punches, die buttons, retain- ers and other piercing prod- ucts, and nitrogen and mechanical gas springs. The firm also performs contract machining and 3D part digitizing.
Penn Stainless Adds Big-Bed Plasma- Cutting Machine
The new plasma-cutting machine at stainless-steel service center Penn Stain- less, Quakertown, PA, mar- ries two Koike Aronson Ver- sagraph Millennium Series Model 3100 cutting machines with a common rail system to offer a cutting envelope 10 ft. wide by 65 ft. long. Using Hypertherm’s HPR800XD HyPerformance plasma technology, the machine is rated for 6.25-in.-
