Techni Waterjet Aligns with Equity Partner
Australian CNC tool-grind- ing-machine manufacturer ANCA, with a U.S. office in Wixom, MI, has signed on as a new equity partner with Techni Waterjet, an Australia- based manufacturer of 2D and 3D waterjet-cutting machines. Techni, which maintains a U.S. headquar- ters in Lenexa, KS, expects the backing of ANCA to enhance its presence in the United States and Europe, and allow it access to new
and emerging markets in the Americas and Asia. ANCA plans to take a 25-percent share in Techni over the next two years.

Suppliers of lift-assist sys- tems to Ford Motor Co. have a new approved supplier of carbon-fiber (CF) components —Bilsing Automation, Clinton Township, MI. Bilsing’s CF overhead balancers and rails are significantly lighter and stronger than aluminum and steel components.
MW Industries Acquires Economy Spring
MW Industries, Logans- port, IN, a manufacturer of springs, stampings and spe- cialty fasteners, has
acquired Economy Spring, Southington, CT, a manufac- turer of springs, metal stampings and wire forms. It’s the first investment for MWI, which operates 13 facilities, since the firm joined the Genstar Capital, LLC middle-market private- equity firm.
Waukesha Metal Products Diversifies Customer Base via Acquisition

WI. According to its website, the latest equipment added to Metal Skills Plus’ facility includes a 4-kW Mazak laser- cutting machine and a 12-ft. Ermak CNC press brake.
