Echo Industries Purchases Haas VF2 Vertical Milling Machine

Echo Industries, Orange, MA, a deep-draw metal stamping company specializing in brass, stainless steel, cold rolled steel and other alloys, has acquired a Haas VF-2 vertical milling machine. Says company CEO Scott Leichliter, “The team at Echo felt this was the next step in our evolution. The machine will allow us to complete secondary operations previously outsourced, increasing our throughput and decreasing lead times. In addition, we recently hired a senior machinist/programmer that will allow us to expand into machined components.”
