  Quality Control Technician – Ann Arbor, MI
A green-energy company in Ann Arbor, MI, is looking for a Quality Control Technician to work with existing standard quality tools, company quality subcontractors and company quality control processes to validate that inbound parts from the company supply base meet specified blueprint quality criteria. The person will be responsible to output a variety of technical data in several forms and reports to describe the findings, and meet timing requirements for further discussion in company meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Program and operate a Zeiss scanning CMM with Calypso software
• Measure and evaluate inbound parts against established criteria
• Familiar with Rockwell hardness testers, Micro-Vu systems, Mitutoyo surface contour and
roughness measurement equipment with Dual Tracepak software, and optical comparator
with Quadracheck DRO
• Use of micrometers and other measurement tools
• Strong GD&T knowledge a must
• Familiar with metric and English standards
• Experience with measuring tight tolerance parts (down to 0.001 mm)
• Ability to write quality inspection reports
• PPAP experience a plus
