Michigan, Texas Stampers Form Alliance to Foster Growth Opportunities
McAllen Metal Stamping (MMS), McAllen TX, and Industrial Stamping & Manufacturing (ISM), Roseville, MI, have formed a strategic alliance to allow each firm to expand its client base within the other’s region. ISM will be able to better service new and exist- ing clients with operations in Mexico with existing resources from MMS, while MMS will be better able to serv- ice customers in the Northern United States from ISM’s facility. The two com- panies will enjoy increased purchasing power from their supplier network, and be able to minimize logistics expenses for customers.

E-Magnets UK Ltd, Sheffield, Eng- land, was acquired by Bunting Magnetics Europe Limited, Berkhamsted, England. Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, KS, manufactures magnetic separation sys- tems, material-handling equipment, flexi- ble dies and other magnetic products.

Arku Coil Systems, Cincinnati, OH, hired Aaron Walker as field service manager, to meet the growing demands of its customers in the United States and Canada. Arku manufactures preci- sion levelers, press-feed and cut-to- length lines and coil-preparation lines for rollformers.
Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, a manufacturer of coil-han- dling equipment, appointed Kevin Dom- browski mechanical engineering manag- er. He’ll lead Coe’s production-engineering area to ensure on-time and on-budget order delivery.
Techni Waterjet, based in Australia and with U.S. headquarters in Lenexa, KS, named Dennis Schmidt general manager of U.S. operations.
