Lincoln Electric Acquires Wayne Trail Technologies
Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleve- land, OH, has acquired Wayne Trail Tech- nologies, Inc., a privately held manufac- turer of automated systems and tooling, including laser-welding systems as well as press-automation equipment, tube- bending machines and related products. Wayne Trail has headquarters and manu- facturing operations in Ft. Loramie, OH.

Taylor-Winfield Adds to Offerings Through Merger with Boltech
Boltech, Inc., Youngstown, OH, a provider of engineering and consulting services for the design, build and installa- tion of industrial equipment, is merging with Taylor-Winfield Technologies, Inc., also in Youngstown. Taylor-Winfield, which manufactures arc- and resistance-welding equipment, including coil-end-joining sys- tems, will absorb all Boltech employees.
HK Metalcraft Acquires Gasket and Lock Line, Among Other Products
ISO- and TS-approved precision metal stamper HK Metalcraft Manufacturing Corp., Lodi, NJ, has acquired certain assets of BEC Manufacturing Corp., Sad- dle Brook, NJ. Included is BEC’s gasket and lock line, electrical-tubing line and several military-industry products. BEC’s assets related to these product lines will move to HK Metalcraft’s facility, and BEC’s former owner and CEO Bart Sci- aino will act as a consultant to foster a smooth transition. HK Metalcraft spe- cializes in the manufacture of spring washers, folded metal gaskets, shallow drawn cups and cup washers.
Chicago-Based Fabricator Acquires a Portion of Mayville Products Corp.
Custom metal fabricator Craftsman Custom Metals (CCM), Chicago, IL, has acquired the light-gauge metal business of Mayville Products; Mayville Products also manufactures enclosures. The acquisition, which includes tooling and equipment, will allow CCM to enhance its presence in the medical, telecom and aerospace/military market segments.

Stewart EFI Adds 200-Ton Press
A 200-ton Minster press outfitted with a transfer mechanism has landed on the shop floor of Stewart EFI, LLC, Thomaston, CT. “The press will allow us to produce deep-drawn parts to 5.875 in. deep and blank diameters as large as 8 in. from strip to 1⁄8 in. thick,” says John Labas, vice president of sales and marketing. Lubricant Manufacturer to Become Energy Self Sufficient
Ultrachem, a specialty-lubricant compounder, announced plans to install a solar-photovoltaic system on the roof of its headquarters facility in New Castle, DE, with the capacity to generate enough electricity to serve all of its needs. The 185-kW system will comprise more than 750 solar panels and produce more than 200,000 kW-h/yr.
