Video Demonstrates
Creation of a Complex,
24-Station Prog Die
Accurate Die Design, New Berlin, WI, has created a 59-min. video demonstrating the creation of a 24-station strip layout for a complex box-terminal stamping. The video, posted to the company’s website, offers instruction on using die-design soft-

New Cimatron Release Offers Upgraded Springback Functionality
Unveiled at IMTS in September, the latest release of CimatronE (Version 10.0), from Cimatron Ltd., offers numer- ous enhancements covering tool design and manufacturing from quoting to delivery. CAD enhancements include a new built-in motion simulator with advanced analysis of kinematics. Die makers will enjoy upgraded springback- compensation functionality, which the company says will save hours of surfac- ing work by completing springback defor- mation in seconds.
CAM enhancements include upgrad- ed multi-core processing to reduce machining times, with significant upgrades to rough and cleanup strategies, including helical finishing, say compa- ny officials.
