New Tools for Forming in a Turret Press
Mate Precision Tooling, Anoka, MN, has expanded its Ultraform family of forming-tool holders for thick turret punch presses with two new holders available in B through E stations, multiple angle settings and with grooved guides for enhanced lubrication. The Ultraform FX fixed-length forming-tool holder proves ideal for presses with precise stroke control; Ultraform XT gets the call for presses without precise stroke control or where form-tooling changes are desired but tool-length adjustment seldom is required—operators need only loosen the head cap and rotate the punch to the desired length.
