Dallas Industries Delivers Feed Line to Wico Metal Products
Dallas Industries has delivered an UnderLoop SpaceSaver feed line to Wico Metal Products, a Warren, MI-based provider of automotive extrusions, metal stampings and assemblies. The feed-line design consists of a hands-free threading system featuring a servo-driven synthetic tension roll for maintaining proper coil ten- sion while uncoiling.
Chemcoaters Becomes Parent Company of Eco Green Coatings
Chemcoaters, Gary, IN, a provider of pro- prietary coating chemistries, now owns Eco Green Coatings, provider of corrosion-resis- tant and adhesion-enhancing coatings.
Check-Mate Announces $16-Million Expansion
Check-Mate Industries, a West Baby- lon, NY-based tool and die, stampings and
assemblies manufacturer for the handgun and rifle-magazines industry, announced plans to expand in southwest Georgia. The company’s $16-million expansion will cre- ate 230 jobs and take place over a 5-yr. period.

Industrial Magnetics, Inc., a Boyne City, MI-based provider of industrial magnets, has announced the acquisition of Clamp Manufacturing Co., South El Monte, CA.
AHB Tooling & Machinery Purchased by Two of Its Own
AHB Tooling & Machinery, Inc., Roseville, MI, has announced that two senior leadership team members have purchased the metalworking distributor- ship from previous owner Kevin Hess. Mike Gleason and Jon Hays now are co- owners of AHB, while Hess remains with the company as director of business development. AHB offers a range of indus- trial goods, including abrasives, custom
welded band-saw blades, cutting tools (both round tools and indexable inserts), fluids and air/water/oil filtration products. The company also sells metalworking machinery.
Denso Named a Fortune 2019 Most Admired Company
Denso Corp., a Japan-based global automotive components manufacturer with U.S. operations in Southfield, MI, has made Fortune magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies for the fifth consecutive year, placing sixth in the Motor Vehicle Parts industry, and advanc- ing one spot from 2018. This recognition follows Denso’s investments in strategic startup partners; its push into software- based solutions; and its expansion of its North American R&D capabilities.
