Commissioned to create artistic metalwork for the exterior of an electrical substation, UK-based NES Architecture developed a unique design featuring multiple rows of 6 different sized punched and embossed holes. Further adding to the fabricating challenge: the design incorporated a wave line effect to simulate movement.
NES called on Mate’s Special Applications experts for advice. Mate designed a special countersink embossing tool to produce these very distinctive panels that exceeded all expectations.
