Exact Software Provides Quality-Management Program for JobBoss Users

Through a partnership with software provider Cebos, Ltd., Brighton, MI, users of Exact JobBoss shop-floor-manufacturing software now have access to Cebos’ MQ1 quality-management software. With more than 20 modules, the MQ1 suite automates business processes including document review and approval, product planning, corrective action, project management, internal audit, employee competency and supplier management.

Manufacturers can use MQ1 to implement and maintain ISO registration and Six Sigma standards. JobBoss users now will be able to tailor responsibilities, tasks and required steps to complete corrective or preventive actions and nonconformances.

In other company news, Exact Software North America, Andover, MA, announced the release of Exact Macola ES v9.5, its enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) software that runs on Windows Vista and SQL Server 2005. The software delivers integrated business process management and business intelligence capabilities, in addition to core ERP applications. Its benefits, say company officials, include the support of integrated workflow, back-office automation and business-activity monitoring.

Macola v9.5 provides users with an upgrade to integrated reporting, and more robust report-writing capabilities.
