Gas Springs for High-Temperature Tasks
December 1, 2009Comments
Hyson Products, Brecksville, OH, has introduced a series of nitrogen gas springs engineered to withstand high temperatures—to 248 F. The springs come in two models—MT16 and MT24—with threaded upper cylinders for easy mounting. Four other models complete the line and feature initial forces from 675 to 2100 lb. Charge pressure is fully adjustable, and stampers can select among a variety of mounting options.
