Council will help us further develop, adapt, and expand policies to help U.S. and inter- national firms recognize there is no better place to do busi- ness, grow, succeed, and cre- ate jobs,” says Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
The Commerce Depart- ment’s SelectUSA, having attracted foreign direct invest- ment (FDI), now looks to advance reshoring by U.S. firms. The Reshoring Initiative tracks and drives FDI and reshoring, which brought 145,000 manufacturing jobs to the United States in 2018 and 757,000 since 2010.
“The Reshoring Initiative has been developing and applying tools to accelerate reshoring and FDI for 10 years,” says Moser. “I am hon- ored to join this council, and we look forward to sharing information and resources with the other council mem- bers and the Department of Commerce’s leadership.”

MicroCare Website Targets Green Cleaning Goals
MicroCare Corp. has devel- oped a dedicated webpage to help guide companies looking for greener and safer cleaning alternatives to trichloroethyl- ene (TCE). The Ultimate Guide to Replacing TCE Degreasers and Cleaning Fluids webpage provides information on the potential hazards of TCE and how to implement changes into cleaning processes.
“We felt it was essential to explain why switching from legacy cleaning fluids to mod- ern alternatives is so impor- tant,” says Tom Tattersall, MicroCare chief operating offi-
cer, explaining that the infor- mation shows readers how simple and inexpensive it is to make the switch to safer fluo- rinated fluids.
