Industrial Innovations Releases Explainer Video on Industrial Lubrication Systems
“Data reveals that within 10 years nearly 3.5 million manufacturing jobs will sit empty, with the skills gap being responsible for 2 million of those jobs going unfilled,” says Ritch Ramey, Ramtec coordinator and engineering instructor. “Forming mutually beneficial relationships with manufacturers through the Ohio Manufacturing Workforce Partnership will create the foundation needed to move Ohio’s workforce forward.”
Industrial Innovations, Grandville, MI, has produced and released an animated video for stampers and fabri- cators, explaining the benefits of appropriate lubrication mix- ing and application systems. These include lower costs, improved quality, reduced downtime for higher through- put, and a better work environ- ment. The 95-sec. video out- lines the importance of consistent lubricant mixing, application and reclamation.
Funding, earmarked at $400,000, will make possible development of a training and application-development model for workers and stu- dents statewide. Highlights will include creation of in-lab and classroom instructional strategies, development of advanced industry-recognized robotic certifications, utiliza- tion of augmented and virtual reality technologies to develop a new class of training tools and curriculum, an incorpora- tion of industry-utilized robotic equipment aligned to the industrial manufacturing base. Ongoing identification and creation of new training models to support the robot- ics-manufacturing pipeline also will continue.
