The new facility sits adja- cent to AZZ’s hot-dip-galvaniz- ing plant in Crowley, and will offer duplex metal-coating services and house a 60-ft. cure oven.
Barton Expands LA Garnet-Grain Processing Center
The 20,000-sq.-ft. expan- sion includes a redesigned freight entrance with more loading docks, and has allowed Slice of Stainless to increase warehouse capaci- ty, add shearing equipment and improve material-han- dling systems.

Fuchs Opens
New Plant in Chicago
Barton International, Glens Falls, NY, a producer of indus- trial garnet grains and pow- ders, completed the expan- sion of its Reserve, LA, warehouse and processing center. The expansion includes a new, 77,000-sq.-ft. warehouse, which will store industrial garnet for waterjet cutting, coatings removal and other abrasives applications.
