PPG Industries’ industrial coatings business, Pittsburgh, PA, has introduced Corrokleen 44 rust remover, an application- friendly citric-acid-based gel cleaner that proves effective at removing rust and mill scale, while being safe for users and the environment. Formulated without phos- phates and other strong acids, Corro- Kleen 44 features a shear-thinning gel structure for simple spray application, and a low-shear thixotropy that adheres the product to surfaces.
