Inc., Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has upgraded its ISO registra- tion from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008.
The website highlights how these blanking systems can produce parts from 2.1-m-wide coil at higher speeds than have been previously demon- strated with other laser-cutting approaches, according to com- pany officials. This helps com- panies to achieve yield rates that allow them to consider laser-cutting blanks over tradi- tional mechanical blanking processes. This can help metal processors and OEMs to elimi- nate the need for stamping dies and achieve greater flexi- bility and quicker changeover. The website further details how the system can be inte- grated with existing blanking- line automation to replace a stamping press.
SelfLube, a mold- and die- components manufacturer located in Coopersville, MI, recently completed its ISO 9001:2008 quality audit with zero nonconformances. This adds to the company’s suc- cessive track record, which now stands at seven succes- sive zero-nonconformance audits. SelfLube manufac- tures both conventional and self-lubricating components used in molds, dies and spe- cial machines.
