Hexagon Metrology Opens Solution Centers in WI, DE
Steel fabricator AT&F, Cleveland, OH, has acquired HMF (Heavy Metal Fabrica- tors), Manitowoc, WI. The HMF facility, hosting large- scale cutting, welding and machining operations, boasts 60,000 sq. ft. of space and provides 60-ton crane capaci- ty. Acquiring the new facility will allow AT&F to expand its operations into the Midwest.
Hexagon Metrology, North Kingstown, RI, announced the opening of two new Hexagon Metrology Solution Centers in Milwaukee, WI, and Wilming- ton, DE. The offices each will include a training center and a technology showroom avail- able for customer demonstra- tions, seminars and more. Project managers, sales, serv- ice and application engineers will be locally based and dis- patched from each center.
“The capabilities and expe- rience that exist at the facility are a great complement to the operations we have in Ohio and elsewhere,” says Michael Ripich, AT&F president and CEO. “This location will put us closer to several of our key customers and prospects located in the region.”
The Milwaukee center will facilitate training and support for local manufacturers in Wis- consin and the Milwaukee region, which produce indus- trial controls, medical imaging equipment, mining machinery, low-emission engines, advanced aviation systems, monorails and more. The cen- ter is located at 20900 Swen- son Dr., Waukesha.
