Esab and Victor Technologies Under the Same Roof
Colfax Corp., a global manufacturing and engineer- ing company headquartered in Fulton, NJ, has agreed to acquire Victor Technologies Holdings, St. Louis, MO. The acquisition brings Victor, a manufacturer of welding and cutting products, under the same umbrella as Esab, Flo- rence, SC, also a member of the Colfax group of compa- nies and a supplier of weld- ing and cutting products.
Penn Stainless Allies with Lehigh to Connect Academia to Industry
Stainless-steel processor and distributor Penn Stain-
less Products, Quakertown, PA, and Lehigh University announced a collaborative effort to exchange technical information related to metal- lurgy and welding and form- ing of stainless steels and other duplex and nickel-based alloys. Lehigh students gain access to materials for research and experimenta- tion, processing capabilities and insights into the issues facing users of the materials. And, Penn Stainless gains access to Lehigh’s laboratory and testing facilities.
