Aida-America, Dayton, OH, will display and demonstrate three direct-drive DSF Series servo presses. One of the demon- strations will feature an Aida DSF-N2- 3000, a 300-ton straightside servo press
wheels now utilize a proprietary blend of the firm’s newest-generation SG ceramic- alumina and BlueFireT zirconia-alumina abrasives, combined with a new high per- formance bond system for significantly improved grain microfracturing. The NorZon Plus line also has been expanded with the introduction of NorZon Plus Fast Cut depressed-center wheels, designed for optimum material-removal rates.

of NorZon Plus provides a continual supply of serrated cutting edges, enabling unparalleled productivity, wheel life and overall cost effectiveness across a broad spectrum of right-angle grinding appli- cations. NorZon Plus Fast Cut provides a 15- to 30-percent increase in cut rate compared to standard NorZon Plus wheels, say company officials. To demonstrate deep drawing in a servo press, Aida will showcase the benefits of using a servo die cushion (from Hyson products) in a servo press.
